[ there's an argument that all their current states are temporary corruptions, so perhaps it's not actually so different— ]
Ah— This should probably be a lesson to me not to swear with this much of an audience.
[ She dips her head in greeting, her smile a touch chagrined. ]
Mela is the Elemental Dragon of air in my world. She's supposed to be more of an ideal than a god to be worshiped, but— Well. There are still a whole lot of monks I'd have horrified with that.
Immaculate monks deserve to be horrified, at least. [ maybe it's clear from context that she's referring to a religion? as opposed to having a grudge against particularly pure monks? ]
And, well, I think Mela was also a human woman at one point? One of the dragon blooded. I'm honestly not sure whether she became the dragon or they're two different figures or who knows what. In my memories, I only knew enough of the Immaculate Philosophy to appease the Realm—the empire the monks came from.
"An effort" is about right—I'm trying my hand at it, but I'll forgive myself if I don't make the same kind of showing I did last time we had a game like this.
After that last game... [ it's subtle, but her voice catches ] ...ah, I suppose I'd just say I'm alright with not pushing myself quite so hard.
[ offering Silk her card ] You're welcome to see if any of this is something you'd be comfortable with, but I know it's... you know, a bit intense.
Re: Day 162: Monster Bingo
She's maybe a big paler than usual and now has functional vampire fangs, but she doesn't seem too bothered one way or the other by the changes.]

Re: Day 162: Monster Bingo
[She instinctively has a low opinion of religious organizations, apparently.]
I never thought about dragons having tits, though.

[at least in as much as religion and that kind of thing ever make sense to her]
Re: Day 162: Monster Bingo
